Aero 2nd Annual Clean Up Day Posted by: Emerine on Tuesday, May 06, 2008 - 04:53 PM Aero News
| Aero 2nd Annual Clean Up Day - May 12 2008 9:00 a.m.
Come meet your neighbors at the hanger area for coffee and donuts before a general neighborhood sweep to clean up our common areas. We start at nine o’clock Saturday morning, May 12. We will move through the neighborhood looking for trash and issues that need addressing to make Aero sparkle as summer approaches. This, as last year, is a terrific time to assess your yard: what trees need trimming or cutting down, which shrubs succumbed to the drought, what piles of “stuff” need moving or shielding from the roadway. Let’s make Aero have the wonderful “curb appeal” they talk about on all those home improvement shows.

New website server Posted by: Peter on Friday, March 11, 2005 - 08:13 AM Aero News
| Some of you might have noticed that the Aero website had been down for a day or so. Our previous host had some major technical problems that just weren't getting resolved so we decided to move. We are now managing our own LInux server with a lot more resources, disk space and bandwidth. The website should work a lot faster and more reliably now than it ever did. Thanks for your patience.

Upper Dam Project Posted by: Peter on Sunday, August 22, 2004 - 11:07 PM Aero News
| Dear Neighbors,
Our long delayed work on the upper dam should start soon and will close the road over the upper dam until the project is completed. Road closure could be as early as the end of this week and is expected to last at least several weeks. Passage over the lower dam (Eagle Road) will not be affected.
Please alert your friends, relatives, etc about the road closing.
A follow-up flyer will be distributed as not all neighbors have an e-mail address on the Aero Web site.
Thank you for your cooperation.

Wind Storm takes out Aero Foot Bridge Posted by: Peter on Monday, March 08, 2004 - 08:04 PM Aero News
| Sunday night's unexpected wind storm took out the Foot Bridge over the Main Lake. The winds from Sunday night's storm were the strongest to hit the Charlotte area since Hurricane Hugo. As you can see from the photo, the wind caused the metal posts to collapse which turned the wooden bridge into a floating raft.

AeroPlantation.Com Posted by: Peter on Friday, February 13, 2004 - 11:02 PM Aero News
| I have recently secured the Domain "Aeroplantation.Com" after the previous owner decided to let it expire. A little over two years ago we just missed securing the name by 1 or 2 days. We had to settle for "aeroplantation.net".
I have redirected the domain of "aeroplantation.com" to point to our present website. If you want to access our site, you can now go to either aeroplantation.net or www.aeroplantation.com
